Whilst the plot follows a familiar development, brand new characterizations is fresh additionally the activities adequate in order to overbalance. Dialogue try terse and relevant, preventing the emotional, phoney contact. Uncommon camera basics appear occasionally so you can intensify interest and you can briefly arrest the attention. Evelyn Keyes takes on the great absolutely nothing lady whom brings out the new best in him and you may Ellen Drew is the smooth and slinky vixen just who will get him on jams.
